KCNA reported on the 30th that a North Korean defence ministry spokesman said U.S.-South Korea forces have intensified anti-North preparations and provocations, sharply raising military tensions on the peninsula. He said the allies mobilised large air assets from the 26th for the large-scale joint air exercise "Freedom Flag", and the U.S. III Marine Expeditionary Force for the first time held multi‑domain reconnaissance training in South Korea, publicly pledging support for South Korea's preemptive "kill-chain" system.
