Hong Kong stocks were firmer at the midday break, with the Hang Seng Index up 0.43% and the Hang Seng Tech Index up 1.8%. Morning turnover on the Hang Seng market reached HKD 98.0 bln. Storage, optical communications, physical-AI and semiconductor sectors led gains; online education, gas utilities, oil and pork-related names lagged. Notable movers: 02432.HK +11%, 09880.HK +10%, 06869.HK and 06809.HK ~+9%, 01377.HK and 00100.HK >+7%, Lenovo Group (00992.HK) +6%.
