Shanxi’s unconventional natural gas production totaled 14.99 bcm in the first three quarters, up 10.1% YoY and a record for the period. 1H output exceeded 10.05 bcm; September alone was 1.65 bcm. Authorities say the rise bolsters supply for this winter and next spring’s clean-heating campaign, stabilizes regional energy supply and contributes gas for interregional transfers.
