On the evening of Oct. 19 local time, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu told Channel 14 he had ordered the IDF, Mossad and Military Intelligence (Aman) to "overthrow the Iranian regime." He cited prior public support from U.S. President Trump, saying Trump's position was "very clear": the core task is to "completely eliminate the existential threat Iran poses to Israel."
