Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy said on social media on the 17th that a "second supertanker" struck a mine, exploded and caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC said the vessel was carrying over 2 mln barrels of crude, had shut off all navigation and radar systems and was attempting to transit with U.S. military support.
