Zhongke Hainai (Wuhan) Technology Co. signed with Wuhan’s Jiangxia District to build a 10 GWh sodium‑ion battery production facility. Phase I will include a 3 GWh sodium‑ion cell line that the company says would be the world’s largest. Zhongke Hainai’s general manager Li Shujun said the project plans to start construction early next year and aims to begin production within that year.
