Rong360 Digital Technology Research Institute said its September 2026 deposit-rate report showed all fixed-term deposit rates were flat or up MoM except the 3-year tenor, which edged down; 5-year deposits and 5-year large-denomination CDs posted the largest increases. Average standard time-deposit rates in September: 3M 0.950%, 6M 1.156%, 1Y 1.267%, 2Y 1.358%, 3Y 1.682%, 5Y 1.571%. MoM changes: 3M +0.1bps, 6M +0.4bps, 1Y +0.3bps, 2Y unchanged, 3Y -0.1bps, 5Y +0.7bps.
