HKEX will list 12 new stock-option classes on Nov 9, 2026; weekly and monthly expiries will be available from the first trading day to broaden hedging and trading choices. Stock options remain one of HKEX’s fastest-growing derivatives: average daily volume in Jan–Sep 2026 was 899,056 contracts, up 1.4% YoY and a period record.
