Baltic Dry Index (BDI) fell 65 points (2.05%) to 3,113, its lowest since Aug 27, pressured by weaker Capesize and Panamax freight. The Capesize index dropped 175 points (3.43%) to 4,928, lowest since Aug 25; Capesize daily earnings fell $1,584 to $41,191. The Panamax index slipped 6 points (0.25%) to 2,384; Panamax daily earnings fell $49 to $21,458. The Supramax index was unchanged at 1,797, its highest since Aug 2022.
