On the morning of the 25th local time the Chinese navy hospital ship "Peace Ark", on the "Harmony Mission-2026", arrived in Dakar for its first visit to Senegal. The ship will provide onboard medical services; mission teams will visit local hospitals, conduct outreach to an orphanage and hold goodwill exchanges with Senegalese military personnel, including a basketball match.
