At the morning close, China’s main futures contracts were mixed. Lithium carbonate led gains, up over 4%, pulp rose more than 3%, and asphalt and benzene gained around 2%. Shanghai crude (SC) dropped over 6%; rapeseed meal and fuel oil fell more than 2%; liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was down about 2%. Polypropylene, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), live hogs, plastics and soybean meal declined over 1%.
