Fujitsu said it will begin global sales in November of Monaka, a Japan-made CPU designed to serve as the processing brain for AI systems. Monaka employs inference techniques to run AI with less data and lower power consumption. Fujitsu also plans to sell Japan-made servers in Japan and Europe, citing rising European demand and offering an integrated semiconductor-to-server product lineup.
