CSSC Defence told investors at its Sept 14 2026 interim briefing that it secured 55 newbuild orders across eight vessel types in 1H 2026, predominantly container ships. The company said the improving order mix provides a basis for higher gross margins; as the current backlog is built and delivered, the share of container-ship revenue will rise and support future profits. Backlog deliveries are scheduled through 2030, with related earnings to be realized over subsequent years.
