Counterpoint reports H1 2026 foldable smartphone panel shipments fell 13% YoY. Clamshell (flip) panel shipments dropped 62% YoY while large foldable panels rose 35% YoY. Q2 volumes were up 85% vs Q1 but remained 16% below Q2 2025. Samsung Display shipments rose 6% YoY, lifting its supplier share by 13.5pp to 66%. Counterpoint forecasts 2026 full-year shipments +23%; H2 vs H1 +53% and H2 YoY +71%. It sees 2026–2030 market shipments up 74%, implying a ~15% CAGR.
