At the 2026 Bay Chip Expo forum Shenzhen Stock Exchange deputy director and head of the Southern Base Chen Weiheng said that as of Sept. 30, 2026 exchanges had accepted 248 new IPO filings in total — Shenzhen mainboard 11, ChiNext 69, Shanghai mainboard 11, STAR Market 52 and Beijing Stock Exchange 105. Since the April 10, 2026 reform ChiNext has accepted 66 filings. SZSE currently has 97 IPOs under review (17 mainboard, 80 ChiNext). ChiNext issuers that cleared the listing committee this year took an average 189 days from filing to approval, median 172 days; several companies including Siyi Technology, Torrens and Ultra‑Pure Applied Materials completed review within four months.
